Intensive Danish courses for intermediates
Have you completed a beginner's course in Danish and would you like to get even better at Danish?
Have you completed a beginner’s course with us, or an equivalent course corresponding to the A1 level? Then sign up for one of our open Danish courses for continuing students in central Copenhagen.
Our intensive course concept, Direkte Dansk, ensures fast, effective progression and equips you with authentic, practical Danish with correct pronunciation that native speakers can understand!
What you'll get
- Dedicated teachers who are committed to your progress
- A dynamic learning environment with motivated classmates
- Small groups of 6–8 students, ensuring individual attention
- Direct, personal feedback from your teacher
- A steep learning curve (and quite a bit of homework)
- Remarkable improvement in your Danish in a short time
What is required of you?
Our courses are for students who are academically confident and willing to put in the work required to learn the language. You should have completed at least twelve years of schooling and be prepared to do 2–4 hours of homework between each class. Since we initially use English as the language of communication until you’ve learned enough Danish, it is also important that you can both speak and understand English.
How long does it take to learn Danish?
With the Direkte Dansk course concept, we can take you all the way through your Danish language education (DU3, Modules 1–5) in just 48 weeks, provided you complete all eight of our six-week courses. You will then be ready to pass the official PD3 exam (Module 5 at a municipal language center), and will be able to function comfortably in Danish both at work and in your everyday life.
