What does it require?
Our courses are for individuals who are eager to work intensively to learn the language. We expect that you have at least 12 years of schooling and you are willing to do 2-4 hours of homework between classes. As we use English as a mutual language platform until we have established your Danish, it is important that you both speak and understand English.
How does the online course work?
By joining one of our online teams, you meet your instructor with a small group of students in our interactive virtual classroom once or twice a week. You also get access to the course material through our portal, where you can download both booklets and sound files and thereby prepare yourself between each class. The course at the A1 level is held in English until a basic level of Danish is established.
How long does it take to learn Danish?
After the first course you are fully equipped to pass the Test in Danish at A1-level that is needed for family reunification. You can then talk about yourself, your personal data, your family, your objects and their prices, your languages, your job, times and dates and your holiday and weekend plans. When you pass our next course, Direkte dansk 2, you are also able to talk about things such as your home and furniture, shopping, meals and groceries, school, work, leisure and the weather.
When you have finished our A1 course, you can sign up for the next levels, A2-C1. At the end of each course we give you a course certificate.
Our unique methods of teaching ensures a rapid and efficient progression and not least, an understandable pronunciation!
