About Danskbureauet

Danskbureauet teaches Danish to foreigners and Danes in major international companies and educational institutions in Denmark, as well as in smaller local businesses, ministries, and embassies, and through municipal job centers. We are therefore one of the most sought-after and highly regarded private language agencies in Denmark.

We ensure the student’s optimal benefit from their course through language coaching. We thus always structure and target our courses so that the student spends the least amount of time learning the most possible. We are experts in uncovering the learning potential and individual needs of each student and tailor our courses accordingly.

We systematically quality assure our courses through continuous evaluations and feedback from our students. We develop our own course materials to ensure that the content and focus are customized for each company and student. We train, supervise, and certify our language consultants so that they develop their professional competencies.

Since Danskbureauet started in 2006, we have engaged more than 50 professional teachers and taught over 1500 highly educated foreigners, including doctors, students, business professionals, and scientists.

BA i Dansk Sprog og Kommunikation

Jeg har undervist højtuddannede udlændinge i dansk siden 2000, først på KISS Sprogcenter, og siden i Danskbureauet, som jeg grundlagde i 2006.

I min undervisning er jeg efter sigende tålmodig, medlevende og nysgerrig. Jeg har samtidig et skarpt øre for sproglige nuancer og fejltyper, som jeg bruger til hurtigt og ærligt at afdække det nærmeste udviklingspotentiale. Jeg er ekspert på mit område og stadig dybt fascineret af, hvordan forskellige mennesker tænker og lærer sprog på forskellige måder. Jeg elsker at arbejde sammen med højt motiverede mennesker, der sætter sig høje mål for deres kursus med mig – og når dem.

Jeg har desuden skrevet undervisningsbøgerne ”Direkte Dansk”*, som følger vores helt særlige og meget effektive undervisningsmetode med særligt fokus på at etablere et korrekt talt dansk, herunder en forståelig udtale. Jeg forestår også vores interne oplæring af nye undervisere i metoden og i udtaletræning generelt.

Ved siden af mit arbejde i Danskbureauet er jeg også censor ved Studieprøven. Jeg har også fungeret som opgaveforfatter ved Studieprøven i Ministeriets Opgavekommission og som eksaminator og ekstern censor ved Prøve i Dansk 3 (PD3).

Jeg har undervist udlændinge i dansk siden 1999 og har også fungeret som udviklingschef og chefkonsulent for en større dansk undervisningsvirksomhed siden 2008, inden jeg indtrådte som partner i Danskbureauet i 2016.

Mine spidskompetencer er privatundervisning af voksne – én til én, udtaleinstruktion og -rettelse, teacher training og kvalitetssikring og konceptudvikling af målrettede sprogkurser

Jeg afholder også kurser i engelsk på business- og konversationsniveau for private virksomheder og offentlige institutioner.

Jeg har stor erfaring med udvikling og implementering af målrettede kursuskoncepter og -materialer i tæt samarbejde med virksomheder og organisationer.

Som underviser arbejder jeg professionelt og ambitiøst med mine kursisters sproglige mål.

I have been teaching Danish to highly educated foreigners since 2000, initially at KISS Language Center and later at Danskbureauet, which I founded in 2006.

In my teaching, I am said to be patient, empathetic, and curious. I have a keen ear for linguistic nuances and error types, which I use to quickly and honestly identify the nearest development potential. I am an expert in my field and remain deeply fascinated by how different people think and learn languages in various ways. I love working with highly motivated individuals who set high goals for their course with me—and achieve them.

Additionally, I have authored the “Direkte Dansk” textbooks*, which follow our unique and highly effective teaching method with a special focus on establishing correct spoken Danish, including clear pronunciation. I also oversee our internal training of new instructors in the method and in pronunciation training in general.

Alongside my work at Danskbureauet, I serve as a task author for the Ministry’s Task Commission for the Studieprøven as well as an external examiner for the Studieprøven. I have also previously served as an examiner and external censor for the Prøve i Dansk 3 (PD3).

I have been teaching Danish to foreigners since 1999 and have also served as a development manager and chief consultant for a major Danish educational company since 2008 before joining Danskbureauet as a partner in 2016.

My key competencies include providing private tutoring for adults on a one-on-one basis, offering pronunciation instruction and correction, conducting teacher training, and ensuring quality assurance while developing targeted language course concepts.

I also conduct courses in English at business and conversational levels for private companies and public institutions.

I have extensive experience in developing and implementing targeted course concepts and materials in close collaboration with companies and organizations.

As an instructor, I am highly professional and ambitious on behalf of my students.
